BucsPress2 is a 24-hour mental health help line for ETSU Students. It provides free, confidential crisis counseling over the phone. It is staffed 24/7/365 by counseling professionals under contract with The ETSU Counseling Center.

ETSU Safe Zone
ETSU Safe Zone is a community of LGBTQ allies on ETSU campus who have all undergone an orientation to being an LGBTQ ally and signed the ETSU Safe Zone pledge. You can view a list of ETSU faculty and staff members that have completed an ETSU Safe Zone training and have signed the ETSU Safe Zone pledge by clicking here.

Let’s Talk is a program that offers free, friendly drop-in sessions with counselor consultants from the ETSU Counseling Center, at locations around campus. “Let’s Talk” isn’t formal counseling or mental health treatment. It’s a chance to briefly share what’s on your mind, find support, and get recommendations. No topic is off-limits!

LGBTQ Stress & Coping Group
This is a four week long support group addressing LGBTQ stress, coping, and community connectedness.

OASIS stands for Outreach & Advocacy: Sexuality Information for Students. OASIS is dedicated to sexual assault, relationship violence, and gender violence prevention through education and outreach about healthy sexuality and relationships. Our programs are designed to serve the needs of the ETSU population with information, education, training, advocacy, counseling, and referral services.
Location: The OASIS office is part of the Counseling Center which is located in the Nell Dossett Residence Hall, 3rd Floor (Fall 2019)
Open Space is a student support group hosted by ETSU’s Presbyterian church campus ministry Ukirk. This group is for integrating and celebrating your identity as spiritual/religious and LGBTQ+. Open Space is a safe and anonymous space to share your story and hear someone else’s.

The mission of the Sexuality and Gender Alliance (SAGA) is to foster understanding and affirmation of students, faculty, and staff within the ETSU campus community concerning sexual and/or affectional orientation, gender identity, or gender expression through social support, education opportunities, and campus advocacy.

University Health Center
Some of the services provided by the University Health Center include STI testing, various methods of birth control, SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) exams, pap smears, and annual exams. Visit their website to view a full list of services available.
